The Philippines has a month-long yearly celebration in August known as Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa (Tagalog for "National Language Month") or simply Buwan ng Wika ('Language Month') to promote the country's official language, Filipino. Our WCS students were excited to display their respect for this National celebration by practicing some Filipino words and phrases and by showcasing some of the Philippines' national and traditional costumes.
